ARTISTIC COURSE – SPECIALIZATION – Comic strips

Objectives :
The objective is to make students aware, within the scope of their practice, of the potential narrative value of a graphic work and encourage them to invest personally in writing in order to create consistent and meaningful narratives and stories.

Contents :
On the basis of a common topic, students are invited to elaborate a script/story drawing inspired from a collection of documents, documentation, references, texts proceeding from various sources (painting, cinema, photography) gathered by them to elaborate a comic strip through synopsis-cutting, staging / layout, sequential aspect and narrative contribution of colours.

Constitution of a notebook

Evaluation :
Assessment at the end of each four-month period
5O% =Commitment, motivation and ambition in the realization of projects+ Emergence and/or development of a personal practice
50% = Examining board mainly composed of teachers
(+ possible distinguished outside contributors)

Specialization = 180h/year
Internship = 90h/year
